What is Lawnmower Tune-Up?
Once a year, during Spring Break, SkillsUSA and Supermileage member come in for three days to tune up, clean, and fix the communities lawnmowers. This fundraiser has been a WHS SkillsUSA tradition for years. Students gain essential life knowledge as well as helping their community and SkillsUSA.
How do I get my mower tuned-up?
You can bring in your mower anytime between 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, March 22nd. Our helpful students will help you bring the mower inside to the pay counter (cash or check ONLY). If you cannot or don't want to drive your mower to the school, you can register your mower online using the above button. If you register online, we will come pick up your mower and deliver it on Thursday, March 27th. The fee to register online and have your mower picked up and delivered is $10.
What if my mower needs more than a tune-up?
If you have another issue with your mower, such as a faulty self-propel, lack of starting, or any other issues, don't be afraid to tell us! We will take a look at the issue and fix it! If extra or specialty parts are needed, we will order them. We will notify you if we need to keep the mower for longer than the March 27th delivery/pick-up date.
